Cloth Fashion Doll - OOAK Art Doll - Adira

Adira is a 12 inch fashion doll made with a 100% cotton body that has been firmly stuffed to hold her shape. Her face has been meticulously hand painted with acrylic fabric paints and beautifully dyed wool locks are needle felted into a permanent hairstyle. Her facial expression features glittering tears spilling out of her eyes and down her cheeks. Beautifully dyed wool locks are needle felted into a permanent hairstyle of a tousled up-do. Her custom dress is made of gold and pink lace with pearl detailing. Her clothes are removable to show hand embroidered details on her body.
 
Artist Notes: This unique art doll is an expression of the heartbreak and rage that is so often felt by women. I wanted to portray my own feelings of hurt and anger that often go hand in hand with one another. I used my own facial expressions as a model for this beauties face to try to accurately portray such an emotion. She was definitely a cathartic project for me to work on!
